Privacy Notice
This notice explains how ADU Advise handles information from homeowners and contractors.
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when creating a homeowner project, requesting contractor bids, applying as a contractor, or contacting ADU Advise. This can include contact details, project details, general property location, budget and timeline information, contractor business details, and portfolio information.
How we use information
We use this information to provide planning tools, create project briefs, review contractor applications, match homeowners with relevant contractors, operate the contractor portal, respond to requests, and improve the service. We may also use aggregated, non-identifying information to understand product use.
Sharing homeowner project information
A homeowner controls whether to request contractor contact. When a homeowner requests contractor bids, ADU Advise may share the project brief with up to three relevant contractors. A contractor receives the homeowner's full contact information only after accepting the opportunity. We do not sell homeowner contact information.
Contractor information
Approved contractors may have business information shown in ADU Advise experiences for homeowners, such as company name, service area, specialties, logo, portfolio images, and statements they provide. Contractors can request updates or removal by contacting grant@aduadvise.com.
Service providers and security
We use service providers to operate the site, database, authentication, email, analytics, and payment functions. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information that ADU Advise holds about you, subject to legal and operational requirements. You can also ask to stop non-essential communications. Email grant@aduadvise.com with the email address associated with your account and your request.
